I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, and as a life-long resident of Utah I have a great love of the outdoors, as well as for my alma mater, the University of Utah.  Today, however, I am deeply in love with my wonderful wife Anna and with our nation's capitol, Washington, D.C..  I am currently a first-year student at the George Washington Law School and am loving it.

I have a number of years real estate experience, working in Utah's local real estate market for one of Utah's foremost commercial real estate appraisal firms during college, and later working as a Junior Analyst for the Cottle Capital Group ("CCG").  At CCG, I researched distressed property for the purpose of trading, acquisition, and FDIC auction bidding.  After graduating from the University of Utah (Economics BS, German BA, and International Studies BS), I took a full-time job working for Ivory Homes as Lead Marketing Project Manager.  In this role, I consulted with the CEO, Clark Ivory, Salt Lake County Area Broker, Executive Marketing Director, and fostered commercial partnerships with local Utah business and real estate brokerages.  As a licensed real estate agent in Utah, and in addition to my work at Ivory's corporate office, I also sold new construction homes as a new home sales agent.  I quickly became one Ivory's top-selling sales consultants, where my positive attitude and superior customer service helped me to sell over 35 homes and close just shy of $10 million dollars in revenue before leaving Ivory Homes after two years to pursue a J.D. at George Washington University Law School.

In pursuit of a long-term goal to become a practicing attorney, with interests of working in litigation in the areas of real estate, contract, corporate, and commercial law, I am ecstatic to be a current student at GW, and am slated to graduate with in May 2014.  Having both in Washington, D.C. here previously, my beautiful wife Anna and I love our new life here in the District.  Living in the nation's capitol among hundreds of influential people and places is nothing short of a dream!

I have lots of hobbies and interests, however I really love to snow ski, run, read, go to movies.  I also have a big passion for graphic design and digital photography, often working as a free-lance graphic designer for various groups and entities.  My goal is to always live life large by learning, working, playing, running, skiing, laughing, volunteering, serving, smiling, helping, and always remaining anxiously engaged in a good cause.
